How to Work with IMMI Legal: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Onboarding Registration & Program Selection
The first step starts with a personal Zoom consultation to review your final goal and nuances in detail, confidentially assessing your core eligibility for immigration programs. Depending on factors such as marital status, family composition (including children), available documentation, apostille/legalization options, expected relocation timeline, budget, and unique circumstances, the session focuses on mapping out both a primary strategy and alternative Plans B & C.

Step 2: Signing the Contract & Payment
The second step is signing the agreement, providing a complete checklist of all required documents for your targeted immigration category alongside a transparent breakdown of professional fees and government costs, and finalizing the initial milestone payment. Following this, the Power of Attorney (PoA), if applicable, is structured and drafted, with full details of the assigned attorney for further legal rendering.
Step 3: Document Apostille/Legalization (in home country)
We will guide you throughout the document apostille, legalization, and translation processes for your selected program according to the requirements of local authorities. Ongoing communication with the engaged legal team is managed through dedicated group chats or a common communication portal, ensuring confidentiality, transparency, and efficiency.
Step 4: Domestic Document Preparation
Once you arrive, we simplify complex immigration processes. Our team accompanies you in person through the required in-country paperwork acquisition, such as obtaining local police clearance certificates and address certificates; arranges for sworn translations; and other necessary documents to meet all legal standards, ensuring smooth preparation.
Step 5: Document Submission & Guidance
We guide you through every stage. After preparation, the lawyer will submit all prepared and legalized documents following the local government’s instructions.
Step 6: Guidance Until Completion
We provide end-to-end support, ensuring a long-term relationship. We keep you informed until completion, sending updates regularly after submission of documents. The lawyer will accompany you and assist with obtaining your precária (temporary residence certificate) and ensure it is renewed every three months until your temporary residency is approved.
