Business Invitation Letter

A business visa invitation letter is a formal document required by Argentine consular authorities abroad to support foreign nationals traveling to Argentina for legitimate professional purposes, such as business meetings; investment opportunity exploration, such as land/property acquisition; conferences; or technical activities, including Argentine company incorporation.

This service involves the preparation of a notarized and legalized letter of invitation / business exploration invitation issued by the local Argentine company registered under ReNuRe (government immigration office), together with coordination of consular requirements and visa appointment scheduling (ACC-000063).

Business visa applications may be submitted to any Consular Office of the Argentine Republic. The authorized stay period for this type of visa is a maximum of up to 60 days, subject to visa approval by the relevant consulate. Applications are personal and the applicant must submit the following documents (an original and a copy) at the Consular Office

Document Preparation and Legal Structuring

The process begins with the preparation of the invitation documentation required by the consulate. This includes organizing the supporting file, aligning it with consular expectations in the applicant’s country of origin, and ensuring all materials are properly structured for submission.

Where required, documents may be reviewed, legally formalized, and notarized in accordance with applicable standards.

If you need clarification on the document requirements or structure, you can contact us for more details.

Consular Submission and Appointment Coordination

Once the documentation is prepared, the next stage involves guidance on the visa application process in the applicant’s country of origin. This includes organizing the application folder, aligning submission requirements, and coordinating the visa appointment process with the relevant consulate.

The objective is to ensure the application is complete and correctly presented at the time of submission.

Processing Scope

The full process is structured as a coordinated workflow covering invitation preparation, documentation alignment, and consular appointment management.

The duration of stay associated with the invitation is typically up to 60 days, subject to visa approval by the issuing authority.

Invitation Letter Options for Business Travel to Argentina

The invitation letter from the host company in Argentina (the inviting company) can be provided to you in one of two ways:

        1) Physical Copy (Legalized): The original must be signed and its signature duly legalized by a Public Notary and then certified by the College of Public Notaries in Argentina. This legalized physical letter will then be sent to you via postal mail to Malaysia.

        2) Digital Submission (TAD Platform): Alternatively, the invitation letter can be submitted digitally through Argentina’s TAD platform.

How To Apply For A Visa:

1. Visa Application Form:

  • Complete ALL fields on the FSV – VISA APPLICATION FORM (except fields #50 and #51, and the FSV- -2026 header). Any incomplete, unclear, or incorrect information may result in the immediate rejection of the application.
  • For any fields that are not applicable, explicitly write “N/A” in the space provided.
  • The form must be signed and dated on the day of the interview.
  • Discrepancies between the information on the form and the supporting documents will lead to automatic rejection and possible future visa denials.

2. Passport Photo: Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs according to the specifications outlined in the application form.

3. Original invitation letter from the company or organization in Argentina. The letter must include:

  • Applicant’s personal data (full name, passport number, nationality, etc.).
  • Trip purpose (e.g., business, conference, etc.).
  • Period of stay (inclusive of arrival and departure dates).
  • The inviting company must be duly registered with the RENURE registry at the Argentine Immigration Authority (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones – DNM). The letter has to be legalized by a notary public (and the College of Notary Publics) or submitted electronically via the TAD application. More information is available at: https://cancilleria.gob.ar/en/services/invitation-letter/invitation-foreign-nationals-business-activities-congresses-fairs-or

Note: For faster processing, it is highly recommended to provide a digital invitation letter from the inviting company (Expediente digital).

4. Employment Letter/Work Certificate: Must be provided by the applicant’s employer on official company letterhead, written in Spanish or translated into Spanish. It should include the following details:

  • Applicant’s position and length of employment.
  • Salary.
  • Purpose and duration of the trip to Argentina.
  • Company’s responsive contact information (email, address, phone number)

Self-employed applicants must provide comprehensive business registration documents and financial statements.

6. Flight Itinerary:

  • Submit a pre-booked flight itinerary that shows an intended departure date no earlier than 25 days after the interview date.
  • Do not purchase tickets before obtaining your visa.
  • The flight reservation must be in the applicant’s name, using their credit card. Proof of reservation is required.
  • Upon visa approval, proof of payment for the flight and final tickets must be submitted before collecting the visa.

7. Accommodation Reservations:

  • Submit accommodation reservations for the entire intended stay, following the same guidelines as flight bookings (following the same pre-booking guidelines as flight itineraries).
  • The accommodation must reflect the intended duration and location as outlined in the visa application.

8. Visa Application Fee: A fee of approximate USD 200 (consult with the relevant consulate for accurate amount), usually, payable in local currencies via bank transfer (according to the current monthly exchange rate). This fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the visa application. Proof of payment must be submitted alongside the visa application.

9. Interview: Will be conducted in English or Local language. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in one of these languages. The date and time for the interview will be scheduled in advance.

10. Additional Documents: The Consular authority may request additional documents as deemed necessary, including but not limited to:

  • Proof of relationship (e.g., marriage certificate, birth certificate) for accompanying travelers.
  • Proof of residency (e.g., utilities bills, lease contracts).
  • Property ownership documents or bank statements to demonstrate sufficient funds for the trip.
  • Any additional documentation that strengthens your application, such as travel history or previous visa approvals.

Considerations:

  • All documents may be submitted beforehand by email. After the documents have been received, an appointment will be scheduled, and the respective visa fees will be informed.
  • All physical documents submitted on the day of the interview should be unstapled and organized.
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected without notice.
  • Visa processing will take around 45 working days after the interview and document verification, subject to IT system functionality.
  • Visa fees are non-refundable, irrespective of whether the application is approved or rejected.
  • The submission of the required documents does not guarantee visa approval. Any false or misleading information will lead to immediate rejection and could negatively impact future applications.
  • Air tickets should not be purchased before the visa is approved. Purchasing tickets before receiving approval could result in financial loss.

To start the application process, set an appointment with the relevant consular office and bring the necessary paperwork with you. Feel free to contact us if you need assistance.
