Important Requirements/Notes
All applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens.
An FBI Channeling form must be completed for each applicant.
Applicants’ inked fingerprints must be mailed for submission.
Completed fingerprint cards should be mailed to our U.S.-based processing partner in Virginia, the U.S. (ACC-000064).
FBI channeling is conducted online, except for fingerprint submission, which is explained above.
Applicants receive FBI results by email.
Digital FBI results are typically delivered within 24–48 hours.
Apostille processing for federal documents is issued by the U.S. Department of State and typically takes around 10 business days once submitted.
FBI channeling and apostille services are separate services and may be ordered independently.

Apostille services for U.S. documents cost $350 for personal records (birth, marriage, and FBI reports) and $400 for company documents. You can apostille either the original or a photocopy. Processing takes 5-6 business days for photocopies and 3-4 weeks for originals, excluding mailing time (ACC-000066).

If the client has obtained the US FBI report, an apostille will take about 8-10 business days, excluding mailing time. The service fee is $350 USD; the international mailing fee is not included. Documents required are listed below:

Example #2:
For a Chinese birth certificate, the standard procedure typically involves first having the certificate notarized (accompanied by an English translation), followed by apostille certification from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The service fee for this process ranges between 2200 RMB and 2700 RMB. Should a translation into a language other than English be required, an additional charge of approximately 200 RMB to 300 RMB per page will apply, depending on the volume of text needing translation. The international mailing fee is not included. Documents required include:

Important Note: When you apostille documents such as a lease contract or a power of attorney, please make sure that your signature is notarized also. Some countries are new to the apostille process and may not fully understand how to issue it correctly. In some cases, they might simply notarize the document without properly verifying the signature, which can lead to serious consequences.
