Malaysian Golden Visa via Property Purchase – Social Pass (MM2H)

We provide services for Malaysian residency through property purchases. We’ll refer to the residency type in local terminology as “Social Pass,“ but the program itself is called Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H). MM2H is launched under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC) and allows qualified foreigners to live in Malaysia for 5, 15, or 20 years, depending on the investment amount. However, the MM2H visa does not grant permanent residency or Malaysian citizenship. It is a multiple-entry visa stamped on your passport, valid for up to 20 years, with access to education and healthcare.

    • Type: Golden Visa
    • Country: Malaysia
    • Duration: 5, 15, 20 years
    • Status: Active

    99-Year Property Ownership

The property can be purchased for a term of 99 years, as per Malaysian regulations. Applicants’ families can apply for a “social pass” under one application as family dependents and will have access to Malaysia’s education and healthcare systems. However, they will not have the right to employment with Malaysian companies, unless the investment exceeds 1 million USD, which is part of the Platinum package.

    Eligibility & Application Process

To qualify, applicants generally must be at least 25 years old and reside physically a minimum of 90 days per year in Malaysia to maintain the residency (fulfilled by either the principal applicant or dependents). To start with,  applicants first need to deposit a fixed amount; once approved, they are given a one-year residency to search for property. Up to 50% of the deposit may then be withdrawn for property purchase, while the remaining funds stay as a security deposit.

    Rights & Benefits Under MM2H

Holders of MM2H cannot work but may invest or run businesses; only the Platinum package, requiring a USD 1 million investment, permits employment. Children may study in Malaysia, and families enjoy access to healthcare and other benefits. The visa is renewable every five years to enjoy the lifestyle in Malaysia.
